Everything You Need to Know About Minecraft

Minecraft is a fun and adventurous sandbox video game. It's a creative and active game with tons of available modes, and a variety of available activities that will keep you occupied for hours at a time.

Minecraft allows players to use their imagination and be free to build all kinds of 3D objects from a variety of cubes. They can also roam free and explore the never-ending map of the game, gather resources, craft weapons and other items and engage in combat.

What To Do In Minecraft Pe

One of the most popular modes is the survival mode, where you must require enough resources to stay alive, be protected and maintain your health.

The great thing about this game is that it doesn't necessarily have certain goals you need to achieve, giving you the freedom to organize your gameplay however you wish. You can engage in combat, build objects, or simply choose to explore the map and do whatever seems fun.

What Makes Minecraft So Popular

The consistency of sales since its release is something really remarkable. Minecraft still holds a top spot as one of the most played games in the world.

Even from the start when the game was still a work-in-progress, prone to breaking and with rudimentary graphics, it was still popular and played by millions of people around the globe. Now the game is available on almost all platforms, and can even be played on Nintendo Switch.

What keeps the game still interesting is the fact that it provides you endless interesting opportunities, and offers you the chance to show your creative side and build whatever it is you want. It can be silly, fun and an amazing creative experience, which is what keeps people coming back to it.

Even though there are tons of things in Minecraft, you may get bored doing the usual stuff you're used to. Why not try something new?

    > More Features
You are well aware that the next update will focus on the cave world of Minecraft, adding as many features as possible. As with the Nether Update, Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.17 does its best to transform the typical caves and cliffs generated to this day with little or no visible change.

    Cave Update

The first thing to start with is the caves because they are the main topic of the upcoming update 1.17. As always, the update will focus on the caves and have the following features:
    • New cave and cliffs generation
    • New plants and mobs
    • Lakes connecting caves
    • New ores and minerals
From this point on, the caves are divided in size. The biggest ones are likely to be deep underground and you need more than a shovel and a pickaxe to get to them. The boat is a new tool for exploring caves.

    1. Cave Lakes:

In Minecraft 1.17, the developers adjusted the cave generation so that its structure consisted of tunnels, arches and lakes. All of the above creates an incredibly large underground structure that looks more like a small world.

    2. Lush Caves:

This type of cave is officially introduced in the 1.17 trailer for a great idea of what it looks like. We can only guess about new plants and their functionality, although there is still some information.
Lush Caves are traditional caves that are home to a variety of plants and creatures. Once there, you will find brand new plants introduced in the Caves & Cliffs update, including platform-like plants and new glowing berries.

    3. Stalactites and Stalagmites:

Dripstone caves are another version of the caves from MCPE 1.17, but less diverse and more dangerous for everyone who knows how to move. Compared to the lush caves, this type is filled with stalactites and stalagmites, which are a real threat to the lives of players and mobs.
Stalactites grow on the ceiling of caves and can fall down dealing massive damage. In addition, if you place a cauldron under a stalactite, after a while you will get one filled with water.
Stalagmites as well as stalactites are dangerous if you fall on them from above. Therefore, always look around before taking a step forward.

    4. Amethyst Geodes:

It was the turn of valuable stones growing only underground. Amethyst is another gem in Minecraft PE that can be found in natural amethyst geodes. These are small cave branches where glowing amethysts grow; you will find them as soon as you get close.

    5. New Copper Ore

Meet the new ore as the emblem of update 1.17. Copper will line up with other metals and most likely be an intermediate option between wood and iron. But the main purpose of copper is as follows:
    • Construction material
    • Crafting component
    • Architectural block with an interesting feature
Copper is generated underground in the form of veins, which is a new feature of ore generation in MCBE 1.17.0. Find one copper ore block and dig further to mine all adjacent copper.
Mojang showcased some of the uses of copper in Minecraft 1.17, in particular by building a copper roof for a house. After some time, the copper oxidized, changing its color from orange to turquoise.

    6. Sculk Growths:

This is a unique plant growing in caves. It has a dark green color different from the other plants in MC Bedrock. In version 1.17, sculk growths respond to nearby vibrations. That is, the passage of any creature nearby will make the plant sway and make sounds that can be used in redstone mechanisms.

    Cave and Cliffs Mobs

    1. Axolotl:

You can find an addon on our website that adds a conceptual version of the axolotl. But if you definitely decided to wait for the 1.17 update of Minecraft PE, then find out what you will see very soon.
Axolotl is a new water mob that does great in lakes. They are player neutral even if you catch them in a bucket (as a new feature).
The main fighting quality of axolotls is their ability to pretend to be dead and then regain their strength to attack enemies again. Catch axolotls using empty buckets to defend against guardians or anyone living underwater.

    2. Warden:

No friendships, the warden was born blind but hears perfectly those who are nearby. This is the first blind mob in Minecraft Bedrock that reacts to sounds. Meeting him underground, you just have to move very quietly, sneaking or distracting his attention with sounds.
When encountering or near a warden, you will see a dimming effect on your device screen and this is likely going to be another feature of the new mob. This way you can determine that there is a warden nearby. And here are new screenshots of how the warden looks in comparison with the iron golem and player.

    3. Mountain Goat:

Moving from caves to cliffs, and one of the new mobs is a mountain goat. It does not inherit the behavior of a cow or horse, thus becoming a difficult target for hunters. Mountain goats have one big advantage, they know how to butt, pushing enemies away from them.

    New Blocks:

Block of Amethyst: basic amethyst block along with amtist clusters and budding amethyst

    New Blocks:

Block of Amethyst: basic amethyst block along with amtist clusters and budding amethyst
Calcite: acts as a new mineral, no use yet
Copper Ore (+copper slabs and stairs): quite logical to consider it as a new ore used at least in the spyglass
Dripstone Block: new decorative block that can be found in caves
Powder Snow: as part of the cave update 1.17, this block was included in 1.16 beta
Tinted Glass: you probably haven't heard of a new type of glass that can block light by the way
Tuff: another block found in caves among amethyst geodes

    New Items from Minecraft 1.17:

    1. Telescope:

This is why you need amethyst crystals if you want to craft a telescope. This small item has excellent zoom feature to see much further than you can.

    2. Lightning Rod:

Great for a large home if you are using wood as a building material. Place a lightning rod and protect your home from accidental lightning strikes and subsequent fire.

    3. Bundles:

Want small bags for storing items playing Minecraft PE 1.17.0? Then use bundles that can hold a stack of any items. It doesn't make sense to keep a stack of one item or blocks, but bundles do matter when your inventory is filled with completely different things.

    4. Brush:

An archaeological item is required to search for ancient fragments and remains. Use it to brush off layer by layer and find something useful.

    Archeology in MCBE 1.17

The last big feature of the upcoming Caves & Cliffs update is the archeology addicting for hours. In order to find something you will need a brush and a bulk block which can be ground, sand or gravel.
Lightly remove several layers from the block to reach ancient ceramic shards or to reveal valuable blocks. Ceramic shards can be processed with fire to create beautiful patterns.

    More Features:

These are probably only superficial features of Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.17.0 that were shown at Mine Live. The Cave Update will definitely get even more blocks that we will see very soon. Bookmark this post to stay tuned and get the update right after the first beta version of MCPE 1.17 is released.
